Safari Overview
Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your safari adventure begins with pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala, followed by a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside, passing tea plantations, crater lakes, and rolling hills. Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most biodiverse parks, in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed game drive, spotting elephants, buffalo, antelope, and warthogs. Dinner and overnight at your selected lodge.
Day 2 – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, famous for large herds of Uganda kob and lion sightings. After lunch, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a highlight of the park, offering close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalo, and abundant birdlife along the banks. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3 – Ishasha Sector & Tree-Climbing Lions
After breakfast, drive to the southern Ishasha sector, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy game drives through open savannah and fig-tree-dotted landscapes while searching for these iconic lions lounging in trees, as well as elephants, topi, and buffalo. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Return Journey
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Entebbe or Kampala, arriving later in the day. This marks the end of your classic wildlife safari, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s remarkable landscapes and wildlife.
