Safari Overview
Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Your safari adventure begins with pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala, followed by a scenic drive through Uganda’s lush countryside and local villages. Arrive at Murchison Falls National Park, the country’s largest and most iconic park, in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed game drive in the northern savannah areas, spotting elephants, giraffes, buffalo, Uganda kob, and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at your selected lodge or tented camp.
Day 2 – Game Drives & Wildlife Exploration
After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, including open savannah, riverine forests, and woodland areas. Look out for predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas, as well as a wide variety of antelope species and birds. A picnic lunch can be arranged to maximize time in the wild. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Murchison Falls & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Begin your day with a morning game drive en route to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the Nile River plunges through a narrow gorge. Take in the breathtaking views and capture memorable photographs. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile, spotting hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalo, and a rich variety of birdlife along the riverbanks. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 4 – Morning Game Drive & Return Journey
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive to capture any remaining wildlife sightings. Then, begin your return journey to Entebbe or Kampala, arriving later in the day with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s wilderness and the iconic Murchison Falls.
