Itinerary
Your 11-day safari begins in Nairobi with a scenic drive to Masai Mara, including your first game drive. Explore Masai Mara’s vast savannah and the Mara River before visiting a Maasai village. Continue to Lake Nakuru for rhinos and flamingos, then Amboseli National Park for elephant herds and Mount Kilimanjaro views. Cross into Tanzania via Namanga to explore Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. The safari concludes in Arusha, with options to return to Nairobi or continue to other destinations.
Day 01 : NAIROBI – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
You will meet our driver guide at Your Nairobi Hotel or at the airport and be transferred directly to our office to clear the payments and briefing. The safari will start between 0800 hrs and 0830 hrs from Nairobi to Masai mara covering a distance of 270kms with two stops on the way. The first stop will be at a viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall and the second at Narok Town for early lunch. Upon arrival at the Camp, check-in, little siesta followed by evening game drive till Sunset. Return to the camp for dinner from 1900 hrs and overnight stay
Day 02 : MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Breakfast at the camp, collect picnic lunch boxes, and drive to Masai mara game reserve for a full day safari experience. Maasai mara is a popular game reserve that has a great number of wild animal species and a variety of birds. You will have at least 10 hours of game viewing to explore the beauty of this game reserve. Maasai mara is well known for its great annual migration of Wildebeest, Zebras and a game drive to Mara River is mandatory. Enjoys the Game drive till 1700 hrs, Exit, and drive to the camp for optional activity. Take a nature walk, Relax or visit the local community, later dinner, and overnight at the Camp.
Day 03 : MASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU
Scheduled an early visit to the Maasai People and have an exclusive engagement with the Maasai People.Get to know their ways of living how they interact with each other and neighbouring communities.In the Maasai Village you will be able to enjoy their dances, have great view of their houses and a good understanding of their day-to-day activities. Later, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru national park with a stopover for Hot Lunch.Arrive at Nakuru hotel early evening, check-in, and spent the evening at leisure, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI
Breakfast, leave for a 4 hours game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park which is the place to see the endangered Rhino Species. Lake Nakuru is also famous for the Flamingos but it all depends on the season and water level at the lake. The other big three can be spotted in this park except for Elephants. Later Leave lake Nakuru National Park and drive to Amboseli National Park with a stopover for lunch and via Nairobi. From Nairobi, you will use the busy Nairobi Mombasa Highway. Arrive at Amboseli camp before sunset and proceed for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Day 05 : AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Immediately after breakfast leave for a full day game viewing, the park is widely known for its large herds of Elephants and the view of Mount Kilimanjaro which is located on the Tanzania Part. It also has a variety of wildlife that likes grazing in the swampy areas of the park. You can be lucky to spot all the Big Five in this park with amazing views from all directions. You will have a picnic lunch at the base of the mountain, continue with the game drive till 0500pm, leave and proceed to the camp for optional activity. Dinner will be served followed by overnight
Day 06 : AMBOSELI – NAMANGA – ARUSHA
Early morning breakfast followed by the game drive from 0600am to around 0900 am then leave Amboseli and proceed to Namanga border where you will say bye-bye to your Kenya Guide. After visa processing, the shuttle bus driver will be there to pick you and proceed to Arusha. Meet our driver and be transferred to Arusha Hotel where you will be spending your night. The evening will be spent at leisure where you can discover the streets of Arusha, later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 07 : ARUSHA – LAKE MANYARA
Pick up from Arusha Hotel and be introduced to our guide, leave Arusha before 0900am and drive to lake Manyara. The drive will take at least 2hrs 30 minutes. Upon arrival with the package, lunch proceeds for a game drive. Lake Manyara is widely known as the home of flamingos and the tree climbing Lions. You will find this lake to be unique as its supplied by water by underground springs and its wildlife is very easy to spot. After sunset leaves the parka and proceed to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 08 : LAKE MANYARA – SERENGETI
Leave Lake Manyara region in the morning for a long drive to Serengeti National Park, you will take at least 5 hrs 30 minutes to get to Serengeti. Upon arrival have an evening game drive till sunset. Serengeti National Park is wider and highly known for its massive annual migration of the wildebeest and Zebras followed by wild cats in search of a green pasture. Before sunset drive to central Serengeti Guchiro Campsite for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Day 09 : SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CRATER
Early morning breakfast then leave for the morning game drive, enjoy at least 6 hours game drive, have picnic lunch then exit with an optional stopover at Olduvai Gorge museum and drive to Ngorongoro Conservancy area. Leave the park with a picnic lunch and make a stopover at Olduvai Gorge for an optional visit. Olduvai Gorge is the museum where the remains of mankind were found. You will learn more from the guide and if interested the guide will take you there. Arrive at Ngorongoro Conservancy Area late in the evening. Proceed to the campsite for Dinner and overnight.
Day 10 :
NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA
You will have breakfast at the campsite then leave with a picnic lunch for a great and amazing game drive. Ngorongoro crater is one of the wonders of the world and you will enjoy at least 6 hours game drive to explore this crater. With packed lunch descend the crater with game viewing. You will have a great and awesome view of wildlife as you drive down. Ngorongoro crater as few of the remaining black Rhinos, buffalos, Elephants, Zebras, Wildebeest among other animals. Picnic at the crater rim, later ascend to the main gate and drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped at Arusha Hotel booked bed and breakfast.
Day 11 :
DEPARTURE
Departure day where the tourists advise the office about the next destination, clients can choose to return to Nairobi with AM shuttle bus to arrive at Nairobi approximately by 1400 hrs. Alternatively, choose to fly from Arusha airport to Zanzibar or Kilimanjaro airport to other safari destinations.
