Safari Overview
Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha / Transfer to Safari Lodge
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your professional safari guide. Transfer to your lodge in Arusha for a short rest and briefing about your safari adventure. Overnight at the lodge with dinner and preparation for your wildlife journey.
Day 2 – Tarangire National Park Game Drive
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and abundant birdlife. Picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp near Tarangire.
Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater Excursion
Depart early for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. See lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, and flamingos in this stunning volcanic caldera. Afterward, ascend to the crater rim and continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Serengeti National Park Safari
After breakfast, travel to the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destination. Arrive in time for lunch, then embark on an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Serengeti.
Day 5 – Full Day Serengeti Game Drives
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti plains with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness predator-prey interactions, spot lions, cheetahs, and leopards, and enjoy the incredible landscapes of this iconic park. Optional picnic lunch in the wilderness. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 6 – Flight to Zanzibar & Beach Relaxation
Transfer to Seronera airstrip for a flight to Zanzibar, the tropical paradise island. Upon arrival, transfer to your beachfront resort in Nungwi, Kendwa, or Matemwe. Spend the day relaxing on pristine white sands or enjoying optional water sports such as snorkeling, scuba diving, or a sunset dhow cruise. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 7 – Leisure & Departure
Enjoy a final morning relaxing on the beach or taking part in optional excursions, such as a Stone Town tour or spice farm visit. After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable Tanzania safari and beach escape.
