Safari Overview
Day 1 – Nairobi → Lake Naivasha & Hell’s Gate → Maasai Mara
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi to the scenic Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a refreshing stop by the lake followed by an exciting visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, famous for its dramatic gorges, towering cliffs, and opportunities for guided walking or cycling among wildlife. After lunch, continue your journey to the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for an evening game drive across the vast savannah plains. Dinner and overnight at your selected lodge or camp.
Day 2 – Maasai Mara → Serengeti National Park (Tanzania)
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Maasai Mara, home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, and the Great Wildebeest Migration. Later, depart toward the Kenya–Tanzania border, completing immigration formalities before proceeding into Tanzania. Travel through the scenic northern corridor into Serengeti National Park, where endless plains and abundant wildlife await. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti before dinner and overnight at a safari camp or lodge.
Day 3 – Serengeti Game Drive → Return Journey
Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and head out for a morning game drive in the legendary Serengeti. Spot large predator populations, vast herds of plains game, and breathtaking landscapes that make this park iconic. After breakfast, begin your return journey toward the border and onward transfer, marking the end of a thrilling cross-border safari linking Kenya’s and Tanzania’s most famous parks.
